Golden Child is back with their sixth mini-album ‘AURA’. It’s been a while since their last release, and for this one they are bringing a new concept and a lot of charm. They have always shown different colours and styles in their previous releases and we are curious to listen to what they have prepared this time.

AURA
‘AURA‘ starts off this EP on an instrumental note. This intro brings a very interesting and mysterious mix of beats that sets the mood for this release. With a seamless transition we go right into the title track ‘Replay‘, this one plays with EDM beats, synth and bass. The main concept for this title song is powerful dancing and a House sound, the vocals and rapping are as usual great and the arrangement super cool.
This song definitely leans more towards a performance single style, and for the music video the members absolutely kill it with a tight choreography and intimidating visuals. They are ready to break the rules and with cool visuals to boot. Watch it below.
With a very dynamic composition that had me totally vibing we get ‘Knocking On My Door‘. The beat drop for the hook is amazing and unexpected. I really liked the full flow and sound in this single. The singing was fantastic and the cherry on top were the ad-libs and harmonies.
Next up
Heavy on summer single vibes the b-side ‘3! 6! 5!‘ takes over. As its predecessor this song is powerful on harmonies, but this time the rap-line takes over and delivers groovy verses. This single is super fun to listen to, it is definitely one of those songs to brighten up your day.
‘Purpose‘ follows up of the softer side. Soft-pop and Future bass meet in this single and create a very unique and experimental sound. Closing this mini-album we get ‘Miracle‘. Golden Child really ends this release on a high note with this single. The glitch sound and style of this track is beyond fun! It is catchy, chill and super refreshing. This song is title track material, and I really liked how it ends on a hype note.
