[Review] DJ Wegun, Jay Park – Everybody Sucks

DJ Wegun and Jay Park have teamed up for the EP ‘Everybody Sucks’. This is a match I didn’t know I needed, so let’s dive right in!

Everybody Sucks

We start off with ‘Batmobile’ featuring Omega Sapien. This song is sexyyy. Please do yourself a favor and watch the video on the official AOMG channel so you can read the lyrics. I love the diversity in tones and flows. It’s fire.

Next up is ‘Deep Sea DRIP’ featuring Punchnello. This duo is fantastic. At first they go hard, a tad screamo, then the beat completely changes with the electric guitar they brought in. This feels quite punk to be honest. I dig it.

The third track is ‘Wegun is my DJ’ featuring pH-1 and GRAY. This feels deliciously old-school. I love the touches of 80s synth they added. The hook is hella catchy and really makes the song for me.

‘Nomad’ is next with the features of sokodomo, YUMDDA and Ugly Duck. Everyone is spitting fire and I am obsessed with the beat and flow. This one is begging for a lot of repeats.

‘Twist the Plot’ featuring Kim Ximya is the title track of this release and came with a brand new music video. The MV is hella trippy but also really interesting. ‘Twist the Plot’ is such a cool song.

The last song on this EP is ‘Out of Place’ featuring Woo and Sik-K. I’m kind of surprised that despite Sik-K being in the military he still has so many features coming out. I think this track’s tone is a bit darker than the previous ones. I dig it.
