BLITZERS is the newest boy group under WUZO Entertainment. This group consist of the seven members: Go_U, Juhan, Jinhwa, Sya, Chris, Lutan and Wooju.
Today they released their debut EP ‘CHECK-IN‘, they had previously dropped the pre-release singles ‘Blitz’ and ‘Drawing Paper’. Let’s check out the music for this mini-album.
CHECK-IN
We start off this debut EP with the pre-released track ‘Blitz- Next Level Remix‘, this song has an old school hip-hop vibe that I really enjoyed, and it gets even better with the electric guitar solo.
This track was a clever choice as a pre-release track, it’s unique and has its own colours, but I found the remix version included in the EP extra cool.
‘CHECK-IN‘ is next with an extremely cool instrumentation that reminded me a lot of marching bands. This track is more of an intro, with a fantastic sound that will hype you up.
We go onto the title track ‘Breathe Again‘, this song felt like a big throwback to the 90s and early 2000s with its sound and flow. With this track BLITZERS catches the attention of listeners with their vocals and rapping skills.
The music video is as powerful as the song, with impressive dance breaks and a very interesting concept. Watch it below.
‘Ocean Blue‘ plays next and this song has potential to become a chill summer bop. It has a laid back vibe that makes it super enjoyable and easy to listen to.
Bass begins ‘Dream Pilot‘ and goes on into a more EDM based pop song, this song is rich in harmonizations and has a very positive and kinda cute feel in it.
Closing this release is the ballad ‘Drawing Paper‘, with a stunning piano instrumentation and an emotional overload. This song puts and end to this release on a soft note with rich vocals and a lot of feelings.
