the Billage of perception: chapter one
This debut mini-album starts off with the title track ‘RING X RING‘. This song has a very interesting mix of beats and genres that is super unexpected and a big surprise on the first listen. Once listeners get into it, this tracks offers uniqueness and an emo-rock feeling that I personally liked a lot.
This single is not the typical title track, but it really goes off and shows the power vocals of this group. Its music video has a very cool storytelling, with a bit of mystery and a great cinematography. The choreography for the song is sharp and fun to watch, check it below.
Deep house takes over in ‘flipp!ng a coin‘ and makes this song rave party material. The harmonizations are a fun addition to this track, very catchy for the crowds, and the full mix and layering of this track is super and it feels like was made to hype people up.

With a stunning string arrangement and piano instrumentation, the pop-ballad ‘FLOWERLD‘ is next. This song is nothing but beautiful singing and feelings. A very much breathtaking combo.
We go into R&B with ‘the eleventh day‘ and I am very impressed by Billlie’s genres changing at this stage. They really pulled off this b-side and made smooth and dreamy, the ad-libs are FANTASTIC and the full mix is so musically rich.
‘everybody’s got a $ECRET‘ starts off with a sample of the well-know piece by Tchaikovsky ‘Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’. This small fraction transitions smoothly into a R&B/Pop track with insane falsettos and flawless high-notes. This song has a beautiful flow that feels as if it was telling a story, it is incredibly good.
Closing this debut mini-album we get ‘the rumor‘ with a dope bass riff and extremely cool and unique vocal arrangement. This song feels as if the members were having a full conversation and the listener is right in the middle of it. Definitely an immersive experience.
Billlie really stood out with this debut mini-album, with well-rounded and unique tracks that let viewers listen to this group’s charm and talent, it is a non-skip from beginning to end. Make sure to listen to it here.
