We are rather late to the party but here is the recap for the last episode of ‘QUEENDOM 2’.
After a drastic change in the ranking last week, the competition got even more fierce. As this episode opens, we get to know how this round will work.
This round is worth 60000 points from which 5000 correspond to the number of views in the videos from previous rounds. 5000 fans’ choice from previous rounds, 20000 for the amount of music streaming of the new comeback singles, and finally 30000 from the votes of the live show,

After all the introductions, we find out the first ranking of the night. The music rank was based on the amount of streams each song had and it ended with Hyolyn, 6th; Brave Girls, 5th; Kep1er, 4th; VIVIZ, 3rd; WJSN, 2nd; and LOONA taking first place.
Now it’s time for the stages.
Hyolyn
Hyolyn will be opening this round, and she is getting ready with everything she’s got. For the final round she decided to release a song she has been working on for the last 3 years, and Lee Young-ji will be joining her for this final stage.
The performance started with a very cool VCR, the desert visuals were absolutely beautiful. The single ‘Waka Boom (My Way)’ is definitely a powerful tune, the dancers absolutely killed it and their outfits were amazing, the male dancers in crop tops was a cool touch.
Hyolyn’s golden, desert theme with Arabic night vibes was very powerful, as usual her vocals were just flawless, and Young-Ji’s verse was super dope. The stage presence of both was definitely outstanding and the ending super dope. Watch it below.
WJSN
For this stage WJSN’s leader EXY took over and prepared the song. We see a lot of her hard work as a composer. The members decided to throw a surprise dinner party to thank her for her efforts, and it was just adorable.
WJSN started their stage with a thrilling VCR that marked the start of their performance for ‘AURA’. The intro dance for the performance was absolutely incredible, I loved the formations and very delicate but powerful moves.
This song really made their vocals stand out, the powerful high notes, ad-libs and harmonizations were amazing, the concept showed a new side of WJSN and it was very memorable. Check it below.
Kep1er
The rookie group Kep1er has without a doubt shown a totally different side of them during ‘Queendom 2’. Every single stage got more powerful than its predecessor. And we love seeing the growth of this group.
Prior to the performance we get to see the members seeing the positive feedback of their stages, and it is just wholesome. As a group they decided to continue on with the power performance style.
‘The Girls (Can’t turn me down)’ was the chosen song for this final stage, and it was girl power from every angle. The choreography was beyond incredible, there was always something happening and a member shining.
The dance break was flawless, and with this song every single member has its time to kill it. The high notes were amazing, and the line distribution for the track was fairly even. Overall a very impressive stage. Check it below.

VIVIZ
The girls from VIVIZ are reminiscing about their early days in the restaurant they used to frequent as trainees. Eunha cried for a bit and SinB filmed it in close-up. They discussed strategies and a track they want to perform.
During the meeting for the strategy, the staff showed videos of intense, powerful performances with a strong impression. However, the members already had the song ‘Fantasy’ in mind. The staff agreed after some persuasion.
We see the girls hard at work with practice.
With the performance we see the girls in a magical wonderland. The musical elements were super cute and the song is a super nice listen. I like how they stayed true to the VIVIZ spirit. Everything just fit together perfectly to create an engaging, lovely performance.
LOONA
LOONA will be performing ‘Pose’. They decide to show their own color in a unique way that isn’t typically done by girl groups. The girls are hard at work with recording and dance practices.The members decided to go watch the sunrise together. They used to do that all the time as trainees.
All the members made a wish together for a great performance for the last stage of ‘Queendom 2’.
The performance starts with all the low registers and an insane amount of power. I really enjoyed the rapping sections. The ca;era work could have been a bit better, because I feel like I missed the part where they spray painted the jackets. If I hadn’t seen it on TikTok I wouldn’t have known it had happened. The lift up stages were dope.
Brave Girls
The members chatted a bit about the emotional rollercoaster that this season has been for them. The queen service rolled around as they won first place last time. They got a car! Brave Girls decided to go to the beach where they filmed their last music video. After writing a wish into the shoreline, the members get back to practicing.
‘Whistle’ is a summer track. The theme of this performance is a beach party. The show was a really fun moment. They really deserve their Summer Queens title.
Special Stage
Eunha from VIVIZ, SeolA from WJSN, LOONA’s Heejin, Hyolyn and Brave Girls’ Yuna came together to record a special song for ‘Queendom 2’.
Ye Seo from Kep1er couldn’t be there because of a scheduling conflict but recorded her part separately.
Taeyeon popped in for a visit with cake and macarons and words of comfort during the recording session. It was a very wholesome moment.
The ballad ‘Epilogue’ is lovely and shows their fantastic vocals.
Queens Capsule
At the very beginning of ‘Queendom 2’ everyone wrote a little message to themselves with wishes and goals they hoped they’d achieve. The letters were put in the Queen Capsule. It’s been about four months and the members get to re-read their letters. It’s a very cute moment.

The winner gets a premium comeback show. So we’ll get to see a special comeback show by WJSN which will no doubt be really awesome. We’ll be looking forward to that.
