We’re back with a new Music Video Recommendation, this time about Room306 and their music video for ‘Blue’.
The 2018 single ‘Blue’ is brilliant in itself, it’s very much a mood piece. However, the beauty of the MV definitely adds to its brilliance. The production company Film Pastelog created the music video. You can find their website here.
My interpretation of the video is that the blue stands for creativity. In the apartment shot with the bustling city in the background, all the blue is surrounding the dancer. It signifies that they’re yearning for it, missing it.
However when the dancer is in the nature shot, she’s wearing a blue dress, showing that she’s connected to that peaceful and creative place in your own body.
It’s a beautifully done portrayal and wonderfully executed.
