For this week’s MV Rec I am bringing back one of my personal favourites from NCT U. Let’s take a look at the music video created for the single ‘YESTODAY’ released in 2018.
First off, this subunit was amazing and I would love seeing this pairing once more. Taeyong, Doyoung, Mark and Lucas just killed with this single, and its music video is one of the trippiest productions from NCT.
‘YESTODAY’ doesn’t just have incredible visual effects, but also the prettiest sets. Taeyong’s one with plants is alternative and beautiful, and its golden fish transition to Doyoung was smooth and perfect. I love how the production and edition alternated the colour scheme for the sets and how every single one was made to make the members shine even more.
