Founded by Swings in 2021, Mine Field stands as a beacon for over 20 indie artists deeply rooted in the realm of Hip-Hop. At its core, this label embodies a revolutionary concept – investing in artists who have been held back by financial constraints from releasing their full potential.
With this visionary philosophy at its helm, Mine Field has become a haven for exceptional talent. The journey began with the groundbreaking signings of Seongguk and Chillin Homie in September 2021. Since then, the roster has grown exponentially, welcoming a constellation of stars including Chu Seo-jun, TE’O, Vapo, DUT 2, Kaiavant, Roh Yunha, INJAE, ABLE, and the recent addition, the incomparable Don Mills.
Driven by the remarkable success of its artists, Mine Field grew by launching two exciting sub-labels. The first, Sugar Beats, debuted in 2022 and functioned as a creative centre for several avant-garde producers. Meanwhile, Mine Field’s reputation as a major player in the music business is further cemented by the presence of a number of renowned Hip-Hop luminaries on the second sub-label, AP Alchemy.
