We’re back with a new Label Deep Dive and this time we’re taking a look at the artists under DSP Media.
DSP Media (DSP 미디어) is a South Korean entertainment label that came onto the scene in 1991. It was founded by Lee Ho-yeon. The company acts as record label, talent agency, event management and more. In 2022 it was acquired by RBW.
On their website they write: “DSP MEDIA aims to become a comprehensive cultural content company by producing and supplying music and broadcast content that the times desire, capable of bringing laughter, inspiration, and hope to the public.”
There’s a bunch of actors signed with them, but for the purpose of this feature I want to take a look at the music artists signed with the company.
Currently they have KARD, Young Posse, Gavy NJ and Ahn Ye-eun. Though KARD is in their final months with DSP Media as they decided not to renew their contracts.
