In this week’s K-Variety Taster, we dive into a global sensation that recently made its debut in South Korea and has since delivered iconic performances. Let’s talk about Tiny Desk Korea.
With the captivating slogan “Tiny But Not So Tiny,” Tiny Desk Korea premiered in August 2023. The opening act? None other than the legendary Kim Chang Wan Band, setting a high bar for upcoming performers like SUNWOOJUNGA, YUNSEOKCHEOL TRIO, Kwon Jinah, and even a special episode featuring V from BTS.
Like other international versions, Tiny Desk Korea keeps its cozy, intimate setting. Artists perform live with a real band, showcasing raw vocals and authentic emotion. The unique atmosphere sets the stage for memorable musical moments.
So far, the show has featured an incredible lineup including TXT, E SENS, 10CM, Jaurim, Crush, Loco, and So!YoON!. Here are a few standout performances:
After a short break, Tiny Desk Korea returned for its second season, kicking off with an emotional performance by Lee Mujin. So far, it has also included unforgettable performances by Dynamic Duo, Paul Kim, and NMIXX.
