K-INDIE CHART – SEPTEMBER

We’re back with the latest K-Indie Chart and this time we’re looking at the top 10 of best selling indie albums! If you want to check out last month’s chart, you can click here. Let’s take a closer look at September!

The top 10 was really shaken up! The albums by Hanroro and Jannabi are the only ones that came back from August’s chart.

Though not all the other names are newcomers. Wave to earth has popped up again with their ‘Play with earth! 0.03’ album. They also showed up in June.

‘5.0’ by 10CM is a new one. The album came out at the end of July and about a week ago, he also released the acoustic version of said album.

The band TOUCHED has been a frequent flyer of the K-Indie Chart, but the EP ‘Red Signal’ is also a fresh release. This dropped in August and it’s the first time, though undoubtedly the last time, it showed up in the list.

Chang Kiha appears on the chart with his first full-length album ‘HAKICHANGKIHA’. The album is a whopping 23 tracks long and was released this summer.

The gropu 3rd Line Butterfly came out with their first EP since 2017. ‘Hwanhee Ultraviolet’ is a fantastic psychedelic rock album.

I love the fact that Ghost Bookstore made an appearance with their 2024 self-titled album. I’ve been frequently recommending them in my monthly diskoveries.

The same counts for the band 87dance. They’re listed with their 2022 EP ‘Soldout smile’.

Honestly this is a pretty amazing K-Indie Chart if you’re looking for solid groups to discover. They all have at least a couple of years under their belt and have all been working incredibly hard on building a solid discography. Happy Listening!
