K-Cover: Hoppipolla – Love Me Like You Do

We’ve featured Hoppipolla a lot on M.E.A.L. but they’re just so damn good. This time I really wanted to write about their cover of ‘Love Me Like You Do’.

The song originally by Ellie Goulding is already beautiful on its own. I’m sure everyone who grew up in the nineties, was listening to her when we hit puberty. There was literally no escape because it was on all the major radio channels. And to be honest, I wasn’t mad about that at all.

Hoppipolla brings this cover a lot of heart and with all the classical instruments, it just works so well. Honestly, the cello elevates everything for me, so this cover is no different.

I’ll and Hyunsang’s vocals are superb as always and I’m in love with their harmonies. I just can’t get over how good they are.

Go ahead and take a look!

This clip was taken from an episode of a new show. If you want to watch the full thing, feel free to click here. I would recommend it because it’s so CUTE.

Also in case you didn’t know, Ha Hyunsang released a solo EP a couple of weeks ago, so go and check out our review. You don’t want to miss out.
