The indie pop band We Are The Night is our Indie feature for this week. The band with members 9z, LIL FISH, Hwang Seong-su and Kim Bo-ram debuted in 2013 with the single ‘Melancholy’.
So far We Are The Night has released four EPs and two full length albums. It’s hard to choose my favorites, because all of their music is so good.
In 2015 they released the album ‘Star, Fire, Night and Such Things’ that earned them a nomination for Best Dance & Electronic Album at the Korean Music Awards.
Their 2017 release ‘Calm Myself Down’ is filled to the brim with fantastic songs.
For the release of their 2020 EP ‘Midnight Fantasy’ they worked together with actress Park Shin-Hye. She is the voice-over you hear in the teasers.
Their latest comeback ‘One Another’ literally had me in my feels for a bit. Tip from the writer, turn on the captions for the full experience.
