[Indie Pick] Q The Trumpet

We’re back with a new Indie Pick and this time I really wanted to share the discography of Q The Trumpet.

The musician has a very unique style that blends jazz, hip-hop, a smidgeon of electronica and a dash of R&B. It’s a wonderful combination that always makes for a very cool listen.

Debut

He had his solo debut in 2018 with the EP ‘Duvet’. Listen to this awesome live set.

In 2019 he released the two singles ‘Would you like to go with me?’ and ‘Everyday I’m fine’.

Q The Trumpet released his first full-length album ‘YELLOW FLOWER’ at the end of 2020. In this album he doesn’t solely play the trumpet, he also started rapping and singing. The opening to the title track ‘yellow flower’ is literally chill-inducing.

2021 was a busy year! He released several singles as well as two mini-albums.

Last month he released his new mini-album ‘Every complicated night’.

Definitely go check out Q The Trumpet’s full discography on Spotify here. He’s also worked with interesting artists like Summer Soul, OVCOCO and Soul Delivery.

Go follow him on Instagram here.
