[Brand Deep Dive] Abib

We are back with another Brand Deep Dive, and this time we are talking about a company whose products have been gaining more and more popularity among Korean skincare lovers, given their minimalistic approach to beauty. This time we are talking about Abib.

Abib has focused all their efforts toward creating skincare products in constant evolution. They mainly focus on obtaining the full performance of their ingredients by focusing on its quality, whilst keeping  a very minimalistic and simple aesthetic for their packaging. 

They have a lengthy list of product types, but for this feature we are focusing on essences, creams, cleansers and sheet masks. If you want more information about their make-up and sets, check their website here

Calming

Abib’s calming range includes a diverse type of products with one core ingredient. The heartleaf line includes a creme, essence, soft pad, toner, sheet masks, facial mist, oil-wash, facial soap and foam cleanser.

The heartleaf as an ingredient helps with soothing irritated skin, every single product in this line has a different mix of ingredients targeting different skin concerns, but its overall goal is soothing and calming. 

In an interesting twist, this line also includes a salicylic acid mix in its foam cleanser, specifically targeting acne prone skin and high production of sebum.  

Other two products that are a must try are the ‘Heartleaf sun essence’, including SPF50+ PA++++, and the ‘Pine needle pore pad’ for clarifying and exfoliating.

Hydrating

The hydrating line, in contrast to the calming one, has different types of products with different key ingredients. Starting with Hyaluron, this line offers soft pads, cream, hydration gel and even a cushion compact. 

All of these products include naturally sourced hyaluronic acid for deep hydration, and calming ingredients. 

A few stand alone products in the hydration line are the ‘Rebalancing Toner’ and the ‘Rebalancing Emulsion’ with sea water, and the ‘Hemp Seed Essence’ for intense hydration. 

Vitalizing 

Taking as a core product Yuja and Yuja peel extract, this line is mostly targeted for skin unevenness, dark spots, and acne prone skin. 

The ‘Luminous Serum’ on the other hand, is packed with natural antioxidants, for glowy and radiant skin. 

Nutrition

The nutrition line includes several core ingredients, including Jericho Rose, Okjuk, Honey, Shea Butter and zinc. 

If you are looking for deep moisture the Jericho rose essence and the hand cream in this line; along with the okjuk line are targeted towards deep moisture and improvement of skin elasticity.

 

This line also includes a collection of masks with a diverse range of key ingredients for healthy and glowy skin.
