We’re back with a new Actor Spotlight and this time we’re taking a closer look at the filmography of none other than Nam Ji-hyun.
Child Actress
Nam Ji-hyun is a succesful child actress turned successful actress. She started her career when she was only seven.
As a child actress her most notable roles were in ‘East of Eden’, ‘Queen Seondeok’, ‘Maiden Detective Park Haesol’ and ‘What happens to my family’.
In 2016 she had her first leading role in the popular ‘Shopping King Louis’ which I was (and still am) obsessed with. She starred alongside Seo In-guk.
The year after she was the leading lady of the SBS drama ‘Suspicious Partner’.
2018 was a major success as she acted alongside EXO’s D.O in the series ‘100 days my prince’.
In 2020 and 2021 Nam was in the series ‘365: Repeat the year’ and ‘The Witch’s Diner’.
Her role in ‘Little Women’ which was released in 2022 was absolutely amazing! I actually recently re-watched it and was still in awe of the talent.
The last two years she’s worked on ‘High Cookie’ and ‘Good Partner’. The latter one was a big success with an average 15% viewership.
