[Review] SUPER JUNIOR-D&E – BAD BLOOD

Super Junior’s sub-unit D&E just dropped their fourth mini album ‘BAD BLOOD’, and just with the visuals we were excited about this release. Let’s listen to the music.

BAD BLOOD

The title track ‘BAD BLOOD’ opens this release with synth, electronic tunes, some fantastic vocals, rapping and a backing track with some house vibes I totally dig. This title track is quite unexpected in comparison to their previous ones. Nevertheless it’s refreshing, super cool and really catchy.

Contact’ is next, starting with Eunhyuk’s singing followed by Donghae’s angelical and soft voice. This pop track has some fantastic falsetto and a tempo that will have you groove to it.

The heartwarming ballad ‘To you, Tomorrow’ is introduced with an orchestration that caught me straight away. This song is adorable and I personally feel that it would be a great OST with its mellow tempo and soft flow.

Continuing the OST vibes ‘Change’ plays, Donghae’s rapping in this track caught me off guard and I absolutely loved it. This soft tempo pop song is mysterious and has a certain vibe that makes it quite emotional to listen to.

Finishing this mini-album is ‘Off Line’ with a chill tempo and a cool flow. This song feels like the mix between the previous tracks of this album, perfect to groove and an easy and laidback listen.
