Chancellor released his new song ‘Walking in the rain’ only a couple of weeks ago, but the music video has lingered in the back of my mind ever since.
There’s something so intrinsically beautiful about this music video. First off, I love the fact that it’s a mixed couple. I will always encourage diversity, so there’s that.
Second of all, the vaudevillian influences with the film ‘Singing in the rain’ and other classic Hollywood films. I couldn’t help but start watching Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers clips after watching the music video.
YOUNHA is a feature on the song and her voice sounds lovely as always. The harmonization though is what brought it to the next level. The outstanding vocals and the beautiful music video are what made me pick ‘Walking in the rain’ for this week’s music video recommendation.
