The boy group The Man BLK is back with a new mini-album ‘EverGreen’. It’s their first comeback since they debuted. They went through some member changes, three of them left. This comeback is with five members. Two members are not participating in this comeback, though I’m not sure as to why.
Let’s dive in!
EverGreen
The first track is their title ‘Time Turner’. This is such a smooth summer track with the nice synths that give a light feeling. Go take a look at the video.
After that we get ‘My Girl’. This is such a fun, happy song! The vocals are excellent and the ad libs are *chef’s kiss*. It’s also insanely catchy.
The third track is ‘SunFlower’ and we keep getting lovely synths. This feels a bit softer than ‘Time Turner’. It’s absolutely lovely to listen to. The rap verse is really chill and fits really nicely.
We close off the album with the song ‘YOU’ which was pre-released. ‘YOU’ is an OST for the popular webdrama ‘Where Your Eyes Linger’.
Overall
‘EverGreen’ by The Man BLK is a really cute and lovely mini-album. Most of the songs were written and/or composed by singer-songwriter RUNY. He’s worked together with groups lik DCRUNCH, NCT U and soloist BIBI.
