For this edition of our K-Variety Taster, we want to talk about a YouTube channel that organically mixes music and candid conversations. Let’s talk about ‘Midnight Wave’!
Originally a music production, marketing, and branding company, Midnight Wave ventured into YouTube content creation in 2023. However, their official first video was published in November 2025, and that was the moment MV Haus was born.
MV Haus brings together the beauty of music and interviews, with a vibe very much reminiscent of those produced by online magazines. Artists are invited to talk about their craft, while the performance aspect is set on a beautifully decorated stage. The concept and main color of each set depend heavily on the featured artist and the single they are performing, giving every video its own distinctive atmosphere.
The first performance came from EXO’s SUHO with the single ‘Winter is Coming’. Since then, the channel has featured artists mainly from the Hip-Hop, Indie, and R&B scenes, including Lena Park, Dynamic Duo, BIG Naughty, JUNNY, pH-1, and many more.
