ALLDAY PROJECT is back with new music in their second EP, ‘CRASH’! Over the last couple of weeks, they have been building up excitement around this EP with the pre-releases ‘TALK’ and ‘DO IT LIKE THIS’. We were excited to check out the full release, so let’s dive right in!
CRASH
The first pre-release song, ‘TALK’, opens the release on an intense EDM hip-hop note with an impressive bassline. This track feels rather dark in its composition, and the members totally maintain that intensity and vibe, delivering edgy rap verses alongside amazing melodic rap sections that complement the overall concept of the single.
Next up is the title track, ‘CRASH’, featuring vibey synth loops and a very fun build-up. This track feels very much like a party anthem, with sections that are pure hype, while introducing a fresh concept and sound that feels new within their discography.
The second pre-release, ‘DO IT LIKE THIS’, takes over with a rhythmic arrangement that keeps a hip-hop core but becomes increasingly swaggy thanks to the deep bass, vocal arrangement, and very sick beat drops.
‘NO LIMIT’ introduces Brazilian funk vibes into the release. The arrangement of this track is so cool; the use of silence, transitions, and vocal layering is fantastic and creates a fun, interesting, and unique listening experience. Definitely one of our favourite B-sides in their discography!
This EP closes with ‘UP ALL NIGHT’. The acoustic instrumentation in this single only adds to the charm of the release, allowing the members to showcase their vocals while effortlessly harmonising into heavenly melodies.
