ONE PACT is back with new music through their latest EP, ‘1’ONLY’. Since debuting, the group has consistently delivered refreshing and sonically diverse releases, experimenting across multiple genres while maintaining their distinct identity. With this new project, expectations were high and they absolutely deliver.
Let’s dive in.
1’ONLY
The EP opens with ‘O-P’, immediately diving into underground hip-hop territory. The distorted effects layered throughout the track create a gritty, experimental edge, while the chanting sections inject a hype-driven energy. The arrangement feels bold and slightly unconventional, making for an exciting and refreshing start to the EP.
The title track ‘SANE’ follows with a trend-forward sound that seamlessly blends hip-hop beats with rock-driven instrumentals. The track constantly shifts in momentum, keeping listeners on edge in the best way possible. Sharp transitions, layered vocals, and dynamic pacing make this one of the most compelling songs on the EP. It’s intense, polished, and built for replay.
‘Pull-up’ brings a smoother contrast with a laid-back, early summer vibe. The mellow production pairs well with lightly autotuned vocals and an irresistibly catchy hook. It’s easygoing yet addictive, a track that feels effortless while still maintaining strong presence.
With ‘DO U FXXKING LOVE ME TOO‘ we shift into softer tones while keeping a playful edge. The harmonies in the hook stand out immediately, showcasing the members’ vocal strength. The ad-libs throughout the song add texture and personality, elevating the emotional tone without overpowering the instrumental.
Closing the EP is the special track ‘Vampire’, performed by Jongwoo, Seongmin, and Yedam. This sub-unit brings an electrifying energy, leaning into a darker and more intense sonic direction. The chemistry between the three members feels sharp and cohesive, making it a powerful finale to the release.
With ‘1’ONLY’, ONE PACT once again proves their versatility and artistic growth. The EP explores new sonic textures while staying true to their core strengths in hip-hop and vocal layering. It’s fresh, bold, and another strong step forward for the group.
