There’s a new rookie in town. DAILY:DIRECTION, also known as DD, is the latest boy group under ODDWAVE. The group consists of EN-KIM, Kim Joohyoung, Lim Jihwan, E-VAN, Lee Wonwoo, and Jang Yoonseok, and today they officially stepped into the scene with their debut single album, ‘FIRST: DELIVERY’.
The release opens with ‘ROOMBADOOMBA’, which also serves as the title track. In an unexpected but refreshing move, the group dives into Afro-beats for their debut sound. The production blends rhythmic percussion with a dreamy, vibey progression that allows their vocal tones to shine. The dynamic shifts throughout the track feel smooth and intentional, presenting DAILY:DIRECTION as a well-rounded and promising ensemble right from the start.
The second track, ‘SELF’, shifts gears into a sleek R&B direction. This song feels mature, introspective, and effortlessly cool.
