[Actor Spotlight] Kim Mu-jun

In this edition of our Actor Spotlight, we’re highlighting a promising newcomer who has been steadily building his career since 2020. Let’s take a closer look at Kim Mu-jun.

Kim Mu-jun officially debuted in 2020 with the web series ‘New Learn’, marking his first step into the acting world. In the same year, he appeared in the tvN D drama ‘It’s Okay to Be Sensitive’, gaining early attention for his natural screen presence.

Following his debut year, Kim Mu-jun continued to expand his portfolio. In 2021, he was cast in a supporting role in the popular Netflix series ‘Nevertheless’, a project that significantly increased his visibility among international audiences.

With growing popularity and a career clearly on the rise, 2022 marked an important milestone. Kim Mu-jun landed a starring role in the KBS sports romance drama ‘Love All Play’, while also taking on a supporting role in the historical drama ‘My Dearest’, which aired across two seasons between 2022 and 2023.

Expanding Beyond Korea

In 2024, Kim Mu-jun took his career to the international stage with his Japanese acting debut. He was cast in ‘Black Forceps Season 2: The Devil Surgeon’ and later in ‘Sorry Not Sorry’, projects that aired between 2024 and 2025 and showcased his growing versatility.

Latest projects 

In 2025, Kim Mu-jun starred in the highly anticipated Netflix production ‘Genie, Make a Wish’, sharing the screen with Suzy and Kim Woo-bin, a major step forward in his career.

His most recent work is the SBS romantic comedy ‘Dynamite Kiss’, where he continues to charm viewers and solidify his position as an emerging leading actor.
