Our girl SOMI is back with her second EP, ‘Chaotic & Confused’. Just a couple of weeks ago, she dropped the pre-release single ‘EXTRA’, surprising fans with a sound and style we’ve never heard from her before.

Chaotic & Confused
The EP opens with ‘Escape’, a retro and bold track with an 80s-inspired beat arrangement. The progression is sleek and confident, showing off a more mature and sultry side of SOMI’s artistry. A solid and attention-grabbing start.
Next is the pre-released ‘EXTRA’, which we’re still obsessed with. Its smooth R&B tones and sensual yet sharp delivery make it an instant standout in her discography.
‘Chaotic & Confused’ follows, shifting the pace with acoustic guitar instrumentals that evolve into grunge-rock-inspired sections while keeping the band-driven energy. The mixing here is outstanding, and SOMI’s vocals are absolutely insane.
The title track ‘CLOSER’, inspired by Sean Kingston’s ‘Beautiful Girls’ is a total club anthem. Smooth mixing, impeccable progression, and SOMI’s fresh and charismatic delivery make it unforgettable.
