[Review] XDINARY HEROES – LIVE and FALL

The boys from XDINARY HEROES are back with their latest mini-album ‘LIVE and FALL’. We know they always deliver incredible music, so let’s take a closer look!

LIVE and FALL

XH_WORLD_75 is the opening track and combines the melodies of the previous intros from the single album series ‘Open beta’ throughout the year.

After that comes the the title track ‘Night before the end’. This is an absolutely stunning rock ballad, with fantastic vocals, a chorus that you can scream your heart out with and killer instrumentals.

The music video is beautiful and also dramatic as hell, but I’m living it. The butterflies on fire?! stunning.

Afterwards come the pre-released ‘Save me’, ‘Boy comics’ and ‘iNSTEAD’ featuring Yoon Do Hyun.

Feeling Nice’ goes full blast with its intensity. It’s one of the shorter tracks of the album but it doesn’t take away from its power. I’m kind of obsessed with the vocal parts which I will be imitating in my car – very badly.

‘XYMPHONY’ comes along with a stunning piano moment. In the album description they write: “The lyrics describe a journey to find harmony, even if it is imperfect, and contain an earnest desire to be saved by music in the midst of chaos.” This is such a cool story and incredibly well done. It’s playful, feels vaguely crazy and goes all over the place. It’s cool as hell.

The closing track is ‘LOVE and FEAR’ which is another pre-release.

Overall, definitely go listen to ‘LIVE and FALL’ by XDINARY HEROES on Spotify here.
