[Review] LOONA – Flip That

Our girls from LOONA are back with the EP ‘Flip That’. We are super stoked about this release, so let’s take a closer look!

Flip That

We start off with the intro ‘The Journey’. It’s a lovely pop track that plays super nicely with high synths and creates a lovely vibe for the rest of the album.

The title track ‘Flip That’ follows that. According to the album description the song is based on UK House. I really enjoyed this track. The vocals are fab and I love the airyness, it fits the summer concept so well!

The music video is absolutely beautiful. The make-up looks are to die for and everyone just looks fantastic.

After that we get ‘Need U’. This track is super nice. It’s a modern R&B track and has a nice beat to it.

Next up is the track ‘POSE’ which they performed on ‘Queendom 2‘ for the first time. It’s still a vibe.

‘Pale Blue Dot’ is a Dance Pop track that is giving me life. The chorus is so dope! The instrumentals mixed with the ‘ooh ooh ooh’ vocals are SO lovely!

The closing track is ‘Playback’. This is a track for the fans and is a mid-tempo pop ballad. This was co-written by Yves, Haseul and Kim Lip. They had performed this a couple of months ago during the Loonaverse concert.

‘Flip That’ by LOONA is a lovely mini-album that fits the season and will be loved by many. I’m glad to see them back with new music.
