Spooky Korean Films To Watch For Halloween

Are you looking for some new Korean movies to watch, preferably the spooky ones to cruise through Halloween night high on adrenaline? Well, try checking out some of these!

A Tale of Two Sisters (2003)

Written and directed about Kim Jee-woon, this one tells the story of two sisters who struggle to accept their new stepmother when unexplainable things start to happen in their home.

Train To Busan (2016)

I’m not sure if this film needs an introduction, but I’ll do it anyways. Directed by Yeon Sang-Ho this zombie movie kept us on the edge of our seat.

Possessed (2009)

What would this list be without some possession. This movie includes religion, possession and a detective trying to figure things out.

Metamorphosis (2019)

‘Metamorphosis’ is a film directed by Kim Hong-Sun and will definitely resonate with audiences. It has demons, exorcisms and a family being torn apart. Also the actors are insanely talented.

The Wailing (2016)

Something freaky-deaky is happening in a little town ever since a foreigner arrives and people start dying.

That’s it for this list of spooky Korean films to watch for Halloween. I hope you find something of interest. Tell us what you think! If you’d like to add some, feel free to leave them in the comments.

Happy Halloween everyone!

Remember, lock your doors, check the windows and get some snacks before watching a scary movie. Try not to have any nightmares.
