Rocket Punch is back after 8 months with their single album ‘Ring Ring‘. This release includes the tracks ‘I Want U Bad‘, ‘Ride‘ and the title track with the same name as the album.
The title track ‘Ring Ring‘ opens up this release with some delightful retro vibes, a funky synth, and fantastic vocalization and rap delivery. Rocket Punch shows a more mature sound with this track and I truly enjoyed it, the members did an amazing job with this one.
The music video has, as the song, a retro style that brings viewers back to the 80s with a modern touch. The visuals, outfits and sets were stunning and fit the feel of this track to perfection. Watch it below.
R&B comes along with ‘I Want U Bad‘, and I am loving how Rocket Punch is experimenting with different genres. This track is smooth and shows the growth of this group. The sound is trendy, super clean, and the ad-libs and harmonization were flawless.
We move back into the retro sounds with ‘Ride‘, the synth and bass in this track make it super groovy. The vocal play in this song is super interesting, each member added a different colour to the lyrical flow and made this track super enjoyable to listen.
