After lovely previews and a lot of hype VIVIZ is here with their debut mini-album ‘Beam of Prism‘. This release marks a new start for Eunha, SinB and Umji, former members of GFRIEND, with their new agency BPM Entertainment.
We all know how talented this trio is, and we are sure the music will be amazing, so let’s go right into the tracks in this EP.
Beam of Prism
Kicking off this release with a funky synth we get the ‘Intro.’, expectations are build with this track, the beats and arrangement are super good, and we know we are set for good music.
The title track ‘BOP BOP!‘ begins with a fascinating intro that includes distorted vocals and a smooth piano riff. As this song develops we get a total bop mixing disco with a touch of latin rhythms, and their glorious vocals.
Saying that this song is fun is an understatement, the arrangement and the full flow of this song is amazing from start to end, and had me hyping up.
For the music video we get stunning visuals with a retro touch I absolutely loved. The sets for this mv are colourful, fun and eye catching. However what takes the cake are all the members. They look incredible in every single outfit and shot.
Massive shoutout to the stylist, they not just look gorgeous but also fearless.
The party starts with ‘Fiesta‘ and its retro pop tempo. I’m in love with the vibe and style of this track, the synth is super fun to listen to, and the members singing is top tier.
‘Tweet Tweet‘ kicks off with a groovy EDM arrangement and a fascinating vocal arrangement. The sectioning in the track is SO GOOD and the hook super addictive, this track will be on repeat on my playlist.

Old R&B vibes come along with ‘Lemonade‘. This song is seriously giving me city pop energy with its melody and the vocals. The flow in this song is effortlessly good and the vocals charming. This song is a full vibe on its own.
‘Love You Like‘ follows up with heavenly harmonies and a very minimalistic sound. It really lets listeners enjoy the vocals throughly.
Last on this release is ‘Mirror‘ with a breathtaking orchestral arrangement and powerful vocals. This single has a bit of a second gen idol song feel to it that I loved. It is dramatic and powerful.
VIVIZ started off this new era in their career with top music and an amazing album. This full release is a non-skip, each song is unique and has its own charm. Make sure to listen to it here.
