The boys from TNX are back with their new mini-album ‘For Real?’ We’re super curious so let’s take a closer look at this comeback!
For real?
We start off with the title track ‘For real?’ This is a fun hip-hop and pop rock blend with cool drums and guitar work. The chorus is catchy and I enjoyed this fresh sound.
‘Perfect Danger’ follows along with an interesting sample in the instrumentals. This pop track has a cool momentum and some nice rap moments. The vocals in the bridge are lovely!
Next up is ‘What if?’ and we stay with the pop rock momentum, though this is a bit softer than the previous one, leaning more towards rock ballad than pop rock. Again, the vocals are lovely and it’s wonderfully layered.
‘At the moment’ has a beautiful album intro: “When everything feels futile and you want to collapse, if you create a small gap in the flow of time and take a short break, you can shake it all off and stand up again.” This is a really pretty track that feels heartwarming and earnest.
The closing track is ‘By my side’. This is a soft ballad with beautiful vocals, nice instrumentation and pretty amazing ad-libs.
