[Review] NTX – PROTO TYPE

The boys from NTX are back with their latest mini-album ‘PROTO TYPE’. The members are ready to show their ambition for different genres, so let’s take a closer look!

PROTO TYPE

We start off with ‘ICE LUV’. In this track the members talk about not being able to control their body after falling under your spell.

It’s a fun EDM pop track with some House influences. There are somer eally cool synths in the instrumentals and the members deliver with awesome charisma.

Next up is ‘Red Heart’. This is a Deep House track with a really cool bass in the background and a cool momentum. It’s a dope listen and I enjoyed the full progression. Start dancing!

After that comes ‘BANDZ’. They’re going for a rage hip-hop track with hard synths and beats. The chorus is chanted by all the members together and it brings a lot of power. It’s an impressive first try at the genre. It’s honestly a perfect hype track for concerts.

‘I’m tired’ gives us a bit of musical whiplash with a pop R&B blend. It’s about longing that is an obsession they can’t get rid of. It’s an interesting concept and they nailed it.

‘Stupid Melodies’ brings in the rock with a garage band vibe. The beat is addictive and I enjoyed the full synergy of this song. It’s fun, playful and has an incredibly catchy hook. Also hello vocals during the bridge?!

We close off with the track ‘Burnout’. This is an alternative rock track that speaks about wanting to drop everything during hard times. I really liked the guitars here as they add a lot of dimension.
