[Review] Loossemble – TTYL

The girls from Loossemble are back to slay with their latest mini-album ‘TTYL’. Let’s take a closer look!

TTYL

We start off with ‘Fanaticism’. This intro track really sets the tone as we’re being lifted off into space.

Next up is the title track ‘TTYL’. We’re still going for a super dope summer sound. The synth loops and the vocals are perfect for this pop dance track that will have you dancing around your room in no time.

Next up is ‘Cotton Candy’ which is by the members Hyeju, Bibi, and Yeojin. This pop dance track has a super groovy hook. The bass line is going wild and I thoroughly enjoyed this. The rap verse is fun and well implemented.

‘Confessions’ is by Hyunjin, Gowon, and Yeojin. ‘Cotton Candy’ and ‘Confessions’ are two songs which use the same track but with different top lines which create two unique listening experiences. I loved the way they used echoes on the vocals in certain sections.

Next up is ‘Hocus Pocus’. This bright pop track has us falling in love, under its spell. The vocal stacking is great and I loved the little adlibs. It’s a fun listen!

We’re closing off with ‘Secret Diary’ which opens on an absolutely stunning violin riff. This might just be one of my favorites of the mini. I love how dramatic this sounds with the strings, the heavy bass and the beautiful vocals. I need to see a choreography for this asap.
