DRIPPIN is back with their third mini-album ‘Villain‘. Since their debut this group has been working hard putting out cool music for every taste, and we are intrigued to listen to what they have prepared this time.
Let’s get right into it.
Villain
‘7Villaz‘ welcomes listeners to this release with heavy synth and EDM beats. This intro sets the mood and slides flawlessly into the title track ‘Villain‘. This song comes along with trendy EDM beats, a powerful sound and a catchy hook. DRIPPIN’s rap line kills it in this release and really goes forward to shine.
In the MV we get a sci-fi storyline with cool special effects, visuals from every angle and an impressive choreography. The styling is on point and the individual shots are extra cool. Check it below.
‘Switch‘ comes along with disco beats and a groovy bass line I loved. The vocal line really stood out in this song and owned every single highlight in the track. Power vocals from every angle.
Tropical styles take over in ‘SHY‘ and get ready for a refreshing song with a lot of cuteness and a very soft tempo. This single is an easy listen and it flows effortlessly.
On a darker note we get ‘Delusion‘ with intense beats and contrasting melody that make the song an interesting listen. This single feels very theatrical and would be the perfect OST of an action/adventure movie.
Closing this mini-album is ‘Remember‘ and with this song we get the feel of summer bops with the EDM arrangement and rhythmic flow this song has. This single was a very interesting selection as the end song but I liked how it worked within the concept of this release.
