In this edition of our OffStage, we’re diving into the work of a producer whose repertoire is packed with hits. Let’s talk about JSONG.
JSONG’s first credited work on Melon was for Loossemble in 2023, when she participated in the production of the single ‘Colouring’ as part of the production company OCEANCAVE.
In 2024, she expanded her scope, joining forces with SM Entertainment producers and contributing to the re-arrangements of tracks for TVXQ and SHINee’s concert setlists.
With such a solid start, it was no surprise when she began collaborating more frequently with K-pop industry legend Kenzie. That same year, she co-produced ‘Officially Cool’ with Bang Yedam and Winter of aespa.
From that point on, JSONG’s portfolio bloomed. In 2024 alone, she took part in production, songwriting, and even vocal directing for multiple singles, including:

Her career only gained momentum. By the first half of 2025, JSONG had already added an impressive list of credits, including ZB1’s ‘Now or Never’ and ‘Blue Paradise’, Hearts2Hearts’ debut single ‘The Chase’, NCT DREAM’s ‘Chiller’, and WAVY’s ‘Sad Eyes’ and ‘Your Song’.
