JUNHEE is back with his new EP [The First Day & Night], following his pre-single [Supernova] released on August 14. This 8-track EP includes two title songs with different moods. The main track ‘Umbrella (10:00)’ feels cozy and bright, while ‘Too Bad (15:00)’ carries a more free and calm vibe. ‘Umbrella (10:00)’ expresses the emotions of someone who only seeks you out when she needs you—capturing the feeling of waiting for something you know you can’t have, symbolized through the rain, the umbrella, and yourself in between. You might notice the numbers next to each song title, they represent the time that best matches the song’s mood. From a refreshing 10:00 A.M. morning to midnight and back again to the next 10:00 A.M., the EP takes you through a full day of diverse styles. In Korea, people often talk about the “Top 3 most iconic entrance scenes” in film history—and the most famous one is Gang Dongwon’s unforgettable umbrella scene from the 2004 movie <Romance Of Their Own>. The unstoppable KPop Demon Hunters fever!The series recently surpassed 300 million views on Netflix, proving its global popularity shows no sign of slowing down. Netflix even released a behind-the-scenes interview with voice actor Ahn Hyo-seop and director Maggie Kang. On September 5, Deluxe Version of the OST was released, featuring a cappella and instrumental versions, keeping the OST trends alive. Alongside the powerful soundtrack, there’s also a nostalgic song, ‘Path’. This song, originally released in 1971 on Jokers’ album, carries warm and lyrical emotions of old-school K-pop. In the series, it plays when the character Rumi is waiting at the oriental clinic, adding a touch of warmth to the story.

Son Jinwook, who gained huge popularity after ranking 7th on the TV show <Best of The Next K-Pop Star>, has formed a new rock band called FIRR (short for “Face is Red, Right?”). Known for his wide vocal range and powerful high notes, Jinwook impressed audiences with legendary cover performances of ‘Believer‘ and ‘She’s Gone’. But the 5-member co-ed band, each member of FIRR brings professional-level instrumental skills. Their second single [Lonely Starlight] has the loneliness of standing alone on a dark stage, highlighted by instrumentals and explosive vocals.
