In this edition of Label Deep Dive, we’re spotlighting a label with a long and evolving roster of indie talents, Stone Ship.
Founded in 2014 by Tolbae, a former Soul Company staff member and member of Buckwilds Crew and BACKnFORTH, Stone Ship quickly became a home for some of Korea’s most notable names in the underground and indie music scene.
During its early years, the label represented heavyweights like Don Mills, Nuksal, Sleeq, Deepflow, Samuel Seo, and more. Today, Stone Ship focuses on a fresh generation of emerging indie artists, including Rei, Yaon, YEYEBEEN, COVA, B-Free, Nam Kyung Un, Lym en, 030, and many others.
Beyond artist promotion, Stone Ship has also expanded into production, contributing fresh sounds and unique artistry to the indie scene.
