This week’s K-cover is a dear favorite of mine. The song ‘House I Used to Call Home’ was covered by the team of Kim Yeji in the show ‘SuperBand 2’.
The original song was created by Will Jay who always manages to write incredible, heartfelt lyrics. If you haven’t really listened to his music, definitely check out his Spotify.
The members of the team are Kim Yeji, Kim Jinsan, Danny Koo and Oh Eunchul. They have a great chemistry which brings this song to its fullest potential. There’s an excellent use of Yeji’s vocals, the pizzicato on the violin and the warm guitar blends smoothly with the piano.
