The girls from Fromis_9 are back with their new single album ‘9 WAY TICKET’. I’m SO ready for this release, so let’s dive right in.
9 WAY TICKET
There are three new singles on the album. The opener is ‘Airplane Mode’. What a great way to start. The mid-tempo EDM is great on its own, but then when we get the pre-chorus we go groovy as hell with low vocals and an addicting bass sound. Member Park Jiwon is listed as one of the writers.
Next up is the title track ‘WE GO‘. We’re going the funky summer bop route and I dig it so much. The song is catchy and has a great bass riff. I love the chorus! It’s such an ear worm and is going to be a favorite for a while. This track has the same energy as ‘ASAP’ by STAYC and ‘After School’ by Weeekly. What I mean by that, is that it is a total bop and women are amazing.
The last track on the single album is ‘Promise’. This one is a lot softer than the previous ones and shows us again what great vocalists fromis_9 has. I would absolutely love to hear an acoustic live version of this.
