EP Review: BVNDIT – BE!

My favorite girls are back! BVNDIT just released their first EP ‘BE!’ and to tell you the truth I’ve been really looking forward to this.

I’ve been following the girls since their debut with ‘Hocus Pocus’ which I thought was stunning. Then they blew me away with their choreo video for ‘Dramatic’ which I featured in Dance Choreo You Should Watch.

Tuesday they released their music video for ‘Dumb’ and the full EP as well.

So let’s get into it.

‘BE!’

The song ‘Be’ is the intro song. It’s an instrumental one that’s just a minute long. It’s very electric ethereal if that’s even a term. I kind of wish they had turned this into a full song, because it totally has that potential.

The second track is ‘Dumb’ which they also released a music video for. I love it! Husky vocals of the members coming through and it makes the entire song sound expensive and luxurious. The hook is just incredible. Prepare to have this song stuck in your head for the rest of the day.

Fly’ is up next. It’s an R&B track with super smooth vocals and even some trumpet. The vocal line is really stepping up their game in this one. And they were already great. This is the kind of song that I’m going to add to every new playlist, simply because I know I’ll never get sick of it.

The fourth song is ‘Dramatic’ which they had already released as a digital single earlier this year. It’s still an amazing song.

The fifth and last song of the album, ‘Hocus Pocus’ and ‘My Error’ respectively, are two re-releases as well. These two songs both appeared on their debut single.

Watch them sing ‘My Error’ live, these girls can SING.

This is a really great EP, all of the songs are very solid and it shows how talented these girls are. I’m just a bit sad that we only really got two new songs and the intro. I do believe that with ‘Dumb’ gaining popularity, because I’m pretty sure it will rise on the charts. It’s too great not to. This’ll help to get newer fans introduced to their discography.

Definitely go check them out.
