Kang Hoon officially debuted in 2014 with the indie short film Picnic. Over the next few years, he honed his craft in a series of short films, including Forever with Tiffany, Mind Control, Your Meaning, and I Don’t Even Know You’re A Man Now. His transition to the small screen came in 2016 with a supporting role in the MBC web-drama Speaking of Love.
In 2017, he landed his first main role in The Woman Next Door, the Man Next Door, followed by Office Watch. His steady growth in the industry continued in 2018 with Flower Ever After and Let Me Introduce Her, showcasing his ability to excel in both main and support roles.
By 2019, Kang Hoon had entered the mainstream, with a support role in the popular drama Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung and several guest roles. He then captivated audiences in the lead role in Meow, the Secret Boy (2020).

Kang Hoon’s career skyrocketed in 2021 with his role in the historical drama The Red Sleeve, earning him the Rising Star Actor award at the Brand Customer Loyalty Awards and Best New Actor at the MBC Drama Awards.
He gained even more recognition in 2022 with the globally acclaimed drama Little Women, and in 2023 he delivered stellar performances in A Time Called You and The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, solidifying his status as one of Korea’s rising stars.
