We’re back with a new Actor Spotlight and this time we wanted to take a closer look at the filmography of Cho Yi-hyun. We’ve been watching ‘Head over Heels’ and we absolutely fell in love with her acting. So let’s jump right in!
Cho Yi-hyun
Cho had her acting debut in 2017 when she was 18. She played a role in ‘Witch at Court’. She also had a role in the webseries ‘Sweet Revenge’.
2018 was a busy year with roles in the film ‘On My Way Home’ and the series ‘The Guest’, ‘Bad Papa’ and ‘Less Than Evil’.
The year after she had roles in the films ‘Homme Fatale’ and ‘Metamorphosis’, the latter being nominated at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
She also had a part in ‘My Country The New Age’ that year.
The following two years were big with roles in the popular series ‘Hospital Playlist’, ‘How To Buy A Friend’ and ‘School 2021’.
The series ‘All of us are dead‘ which was a huge Netflix hit, is one of her key breakout roles. Together with her role alongside Rowoon in ‘The Matchmakers’ in 2023.
Then of course, this year she’s been shining in ‘Head over Heels’ of which there will be a review coming soon.
