We’re back with a new Label Deep Dive and this time we’re taking a closer look at Mound Media. Let’s jump right in!
Surprisingly Mound Media is a behemoth. They have a bunch of subsidiaries and have been absorbing a lot of independent indie record labels.
Mound Media was established in 2014 by Shin Dong-ik in Mapo-gu.
They focus on several parts of the entertainment industry with subsidiaries in record labels, distribution, production, e-commerce and fashion.
Amongst many here are a few of the most well-known ones. There’s Poclanos, Magic Strawberry Sound, MAREUMO, grim production, WANDERLOCH, Red Company, AO, authentic and M.O.M. entertainment. You can find the full list here.
