For this edition of our Rapper In The Spotlight, we’re diving into the career of an indie rapper who has been steadily building his sound since 2019. Let’s talk about Ossh.
Ossh officially debuted in 2019 under Digital Record Hamo with the digital single ‘Wave’. The track leaned heavily into the autotune-driven vocals and laid-back vibes that defined the era, setting a solid foundation for his musical direction.
The following year proved to be a defining moment for his career in the hip-hop scene with the release of two EPs: ‘PROBLEM’ and ‘OR:DEAL’. Both projects further shaped his sound, blending hip-hop with EDM influences, sharp production, and diverse verse flows that made each release feel distinctive.
His second EP also included one of his most popular tracks, ‘FAKE’ featuring CAMO, which quickly became a standout song in his discography.
Ossh entered our listening radar in 2021 with the EP ‘OSH’. At the time of its release, the project stood out thanks to its urban vibe and the strong presence of layered instrumentals and thoughtful compositions. The title track ‘Now I Know’ highlighted how his music had matured and evolved alongside his artistic journey.
First Album
After releasing the single ‘SUMMER’ featuring RBXO, Ossh returned in 2022 with his first full-length album ‘Unconventional’. The 19-track project included features from Eunsan, Asher, and others. The album expanded his musical palette with interesting instrumental choices and dynamic production, creating an elevated and diverse listening experience.
That same year, he also released the EP ‘At the Last Minute’ along with the single ‘Away’, continuing to show his consistent creative output.
After a brief break, Ossh returned in 2024 with the single ‘Deserve’, which later led into the release of the EP ‘Re:Instate’, further showcasing his evolving production style and songwriting approach.
Following several additional releases, he dropped the EP ‘D[A]FT’ in 2025, featuring artists such as Hollow Young, PYMEL, Hanul Lee, and more. The project continued to expand his sonic palette while highlighting his collaborative chemistry with other artists.
He closed out 2025 with the single ‘As Always’ and the single album ‘Love+?’, adding yet more variety to his growing catalog.
