For this edition of Label Deep Dive, we turn our attention to a recently formed indie label that has already built an impressive and diverse roster. Let’s talk about DOHN Records.
Founded in 2024, DOHN Records takes its name from the acronym “Do Only Hesitate Never”, a philosophy that reflects the label’s bold and forward-moving mindset. From the very start, DOHN positioned itself firmly within the hip-hop scene, signing two rising names: Ja Mezz and Bangroz.
The First Chapter
The label’s first official release was ‘Only God Can Stop Me: INTRO’, serving as a pre-release track for the collaborative album ‘Only God Can Stop Me’ by Ja Mezz and Bangroz. The release set a confident tone for the label, emphasizing raw energy, conviction, and artistic chemistry.
Expanding the Roster
Later that same year, BanggerDope and DVRN joined DOHN Records, further strengthening the label’s hip-hop foundation. Both artists brought distinct styles to the roster, adding versatility tot his label.
According to the label’s Instagram, the most recent signing is Jindotgae, an artist with a more alternative and experimental sound. This addition marks a clear step toward sonic diversification.
With its growing lineup, DOHN Records is shaping a roster that values fresh perspectives, individuality, and strong musical identity.
