The girls from TWICE are back with their new full-length album ‘THIS IS FOR’. With this release they’re celebrating their ten year anniversary which is iconic.

We start off with the track ‘FOUR’. This is a cool intro track with an R&B vibe and a cool ambient sound.
Next up is the title track ‘THIS IS FOR’. We get a fun pop track we can easily shout along to. It’s all about girls supporting girls.
‘OPTIONS’ comes next and I’m obsessed with the instrumentals. We get some harp, some strings on top of a sick beat. What a fun track! This is a solid pop track that is going in all the girls’ playlists.
‘MARS’ talks about feeling like you don’t belong. We get some really fun synths and some great vocals.
The following track ‘RIGHT HAND GIRL’ brings some dancehall beats and some dreamy synths. This is a major vibe and feels like summer. “It is a story about the moment of getting back up from heartbreak and hurt, and the friends who stay by your side or the strong ego within you, delivering the message of ‘believe in yourself more than anyone else and find happiness.'”
‘PEACH GELATO’ brings us a summer pop track created by John Ryan and Julian Bunetta, who were responsible for Sabrina Carpenter’s hit songs. We’re falling in love at first sight on the dancefloor.
‘HI HELLO’ is an R&B pop track that sings about ambiguity in a relationship and the combination of thrilling and annoying that brings along. It’s a cute listen, and will be absolutely adorable if performed during concerts.
Next up are all the sub-unit tracks.
NAYEON, JEONGYEON, MOMO, and MINA bring ‘BATTITUDE’. This screams power, pizzazz and chutzpah. It’s a girl power anthem. I really enjoyed the brass in the instrumentals.
SANA, JIHYO, DAHYUN, CHAEYOUNG, and TZUYU come out with ‘DAT AHH DAT OOH’. This R&B pop blend is sexy and powerful. It’s also catchy as hell and will have you shimmying your shoulders in no time.
JEONGYEON, MOMO, SANA, and TZUYU worked on ‘LET LOVE GO’. This is a mid-tempo pop track that “delivers the message that letting go is the hardest thing to do, but it also makes us stronger.” The guitars in the instrumental were great!
MINA, DAHYUN, and CHAEYOUNG came out with ‘GOAT’. This is a fantastic track with great instrumentals and a nice progression. The vocal layering is absolutely fantastic!
NAYEON and JIHYO teamed up for ‘TALK’. We’re going for a sensual R&B moment and I love the almost staccato delivery during the chorus.
After that comes ‘SEESAW’ which is a group track. The seesaw in the track compares a relationship to a seesaw teetering between secrets and openness. It’s a cool R&B pop track with cool synths in the backing track.
We close the album with ‘HEARTBREAK AVENUE’. This is a mid-tempo pop track with a retro vibe to it. I adore the guitar break in the outro.
Overall ‘THIS IS FOR’ by TWICE is a fun album. Though I did miss a big ballad with big vocals.
