The WJSN sub-unit CHOCOME had many people rejoice in 2020 with their debut single ‘Hmph‘. It was a very unexpected but solid bop.
This time the girls are back with the single album ‘Super Yuppers‘. This retro disco pop track is absolutely hilarious. The retro music video with the girls wearing outfits of female superheroes is adorable and so much fun! I caught glimpses of Wonder Woman, Sailor Moon and even a reference to ‘Squid Game’.

The second single on the album is ‘Sweetie’. Member of 2AM Lee Changmin wrote the lyrics for this one. It’s a cute synthwave pop track that has a lovely melody.
I’m super happy that WJSN CHOCOME is back with ‘Super Yuppers’. I think they have such a fresh concept and I’m excited to hear more.
