We’re going Indie this week!
Number 1: Rothy – Bee
First of all, Rothy’s vocals are a god sent. It’s literally a gift to us mere mortals. This song is funky and fun and all things you need on a dreary day to dance around in your pajamas. Not that I did that of course… maybe I did, you’ll never be sure.
Number 2: Woo – I Love You
There’s no music video for this one unfortunately. However, we don’t need one, because the song speaks for itself.
I won’t write too much about it because the song doesn’t need me to. There’s some desperation in his voice that strikes me. That together with the old school vocals in the background had me shook.
Number 3: CHAI – Alright (Acoustic Version)

This acoustic version is somehow even better than the studio version. I have so much love for this song.

That song is so fun, with the way she plays with her voice, expertly plays the piano and that trumpet that’s added in. It’s music at its best. Unfortunately she didn’t win that season, she ended up in second place. Lee Soo Jung otherwise known as Chai was the winner of that season. So we got two indie sweethearts basically. We even featured Chai in one of our Top 3s. […]
