A new week, a new top 3. By now, you should know how it goes.
Number 1: Henry Lau – Monster
Henry’s vocals are super super smooth and I love it. His song ‘Monster’ is available in three languages: Korean, Chinese and English. I gave you the English version because that’s the only one with a music video and it’s also the first version I ever heard of it. Honestly, it’s really dope.
Code Kunst – Rain Bird feat. Tablo and Colde
Honestly, how much epicness can you gather for one song? Somehow some of my all time favourite people have collabed. The result is one fine, perfect, amazing, slow song.
Also for the love of God, read the lyrics of the song while it’s playing. Just turn the captions on. My boys have some deep feelings and are lyrical geniuses.
Number 3: Ashmute – Scenery
So I just realize that I’ve been going for a sad, slow, deep theme this week. The last song by Ashmute is no different. Her voice and the aesthetics of the video just go perfectly hand in hand. Everything about this is just brilliant and I find that there’s something haunting in her voice. But I can’t stop listening to her.
