Our vocal queens VIVIZ are back with their fifth mini-album ‘VOYAGE’. We’re super stoked, so let’s dive right in!
VOYAGE
We start off with the title track ‘Shhh!’ This is straight up fire. The hook is super catchy and has us shaking our hips. This Latin pop track is making us count down the months to the summer time where we can go dance in the sun. The groove is unmistakable.
Next up is Cliché’. We’re sticking with the Latin vibes but we’re introducing hip-hop beats and some brass riffs. The high notes are solid and honestly this is a total ear worm.
‘Full Moon’ comes along with some funky synths. The Drum and Bass influences are pretty rad and create a fun track. The pace is kind of crazy during the verses but it’s balanced well with the slower pre-chorus.
After that we get ‘Hypnotize’. The lyrics were written by Umji. This is a very solid R&B track with really cool instrumentals. The bass is going wild and the electric piano is such a vibe. This melody is super fun. Belle from Kiss of Life has composing credits on the track.
The closing track ‘Love & Tears’ was written and co-composed by Umji as well. This synth pop track is adorable. The synths are twinkling and bubbling like soda. This is a thank you note to everyone who held their hand to run in this new world.
